The Praxium Clinical Collaborative

Building Better Research Together

Advancing scientific knowledge through rigorous clinical research, research education, and mentorship.

  • Methodology first
  • Pre-specified analysis
  • Transparent reporting
  • Structured mentorship
  • Peer review
  • Open contribution

A student-led collaborative

Made by students, for students.

The Praxium Clinical Collaborative began with a group of students who wanted a place to work through the literature together — reading deeply, asking sharper questions, and learning rigorous methodology by taking part in real research.

Built on collaboration.

We work with like-minded students, mentors, and practicing investigators — across institutions — to delve into the literature, refine questions, and contribute findings to the scientific and public communities.

We foster a structured environment in which investigators develop meaningful research questions, apply sound methodology, and contribute findings to the scientific and public communities.

What we do

Four commitments, applied to every project.

01

Advancing scientific knowledge

Meaningful questions, answered with sound methodology.

02

Conducting research

Structured protocols, careful conduct, honest reporting.

03

Education & mentorship

A structured environment for investigators to develop.

04

Making findings available

Contributing results to the scientific and public communities.

Investigators reviewing study design together

Research education

Mentorship as method.

Investigators work inside a defined structure: a question is refined, a protocol is written, and the analysis is planned before data collection begins. Mentorship is how that structure is taught and upheld.

Our approach

The sequence

Design first. Then execute.

  1. 01

    Question

A question worth answering, grounded in the existing literature.

  2. 02

    Design

Methods, endpoints, and analysis specified before data collection.

  3. 03

    Conduct

Protocol followed as written, with documented deviations.

  4. 04

    Report

Findings shared with the scientific and public communities.

Standards

What holds the work together.

Pre-specification

Endpoints and analysis plans are fixed before a single record is reviewed.

Documentation

Every decision is traceable, from protocol amendment to final figure.

Review

Work is read critically by more than one investigator before it leaves.
